Creative Designer | Creative Strategist
UX RESEARCHER | EDUCATOR

A multidisciplinary, creative and logical professional with 8+ years of experience in utilizing Research and Design methods and techniques as strategic leadership tools to drive Brand Development and Product Development. With a human-centered approach to creative problem solving and social innovation, I have managed creative processes from idea to launch, within Print, Digital (UX & UI) and Physical formats across industries and international cultures and markets. I am passionate about creating thoughtful, engaging, and innovative products, services, and intuitive digital experiences that enhance the user experience, and foster social impact, business development, and organizational growth. Through the fusion of physical and digital and balancing form and function, I aim to promote creativity, educate and help build capacities, and inspire meaningful real-life cross-cultural interactions.

Given the breadth and depth of my experience and skills, I have developed a strong passion for Education, whether it is creating a new product, service or experience for educational use and intent or conducting classes and workshops that empower and enable students and clients to create innovative and sustainable solutions to combat social and business challenges. I am passionate about utilizing empathy to understand user needs, behaviors, motivations, interests and attitudes, as well as staying keen to business objectives, cultural guidelines, and policies. These holistic experiences are aimed to build capacities through skill-based activities that will foster life-long learning and equitable opportunities which will in-turn impact lives by helping users reach their full potential.

With an interest in utilizing art and design to drive educational initiatives, Education Management, and Youth Development, In 2014, I founded a non-profit organization, Art of Hearts, Inc., which values the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal #4 of ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all. Using Arts Education and creative processes as learning tools for developing 21st-century skills, Art of Hearts, is working to help create and sustain life-long learning opportunities for youth in developing areas of the world. Through human-centric research methods and immersive fieldwork, the AOH team formulates contextual frameworks that incorporate a hybrid of traditional and progressive learning methods to enhance teaching and learning models, inclusive of all learning types, for teachers and pupils. Missioned with believing that education is the root of change, artistic activities beget the transferrable skills needed for a sustainable future, and culture and identity is at the heart of development, we hope to drive and impact governmental policy change for Education and impact human and sustainable development in rural areas around the world. As of 2019, Art of Hearts operates in Accra, Ghana and Monrovia, Liberia, while continuously working to expand our reach.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Business & Graphic Communication with a minor in French from Baruch College in New York City and a Master of Arts in Design Management & Cultures from University of the Arts London.
